Organization Advancements

“Effective performance of any organization deeply depends on the performance of its employees; therefore, employee training is something unavoidable in the organization and should not be overlooked or undermined.” (Samwel, 2018, p.36).

According to Vinesh (2014) Employee Training and career development plays an important role in any company or organization and below given are some of the company benefits;

👉Ensures worker satisfaction

👉Increases productivity

👉Improves the quality of service and products

👉Reduces cost

According to Samwel (2018) Employee training is one of the most vital tools that will help to enhance effective organizational performance together helps to promote the stability index of the organization. Also, it is very important for the organization to exert extra efforts and invest much in employee training if the organization desires to achieve the objectives in the most economical way.

A Statement Cited in Bashir and Long (2015) states; the benefits of training are numerous both for the employees and the organization. To the employee, training can lead to job satisfaction (Wagner, 2000) and higher job performance (Barber, 2004; Gultek et al., 2006; Satterfield and Hughes, 2007). These benefits can have a positive effect on the organization such as employee retention and increased organizational performance (Bashir and Long 2015).

“Companies in the United States expend more money annually on training than do all the public school systems in the country combined” (O’Connor, Bronner, and Delaney, 1996, p. 1 cited in Bartlett, 2001, p.335).

MacMillan (1984) study states how the employee training and human resources Practices contributed to organization’s growth and prosperity is gaining and retaining competitive advantage using some examples from the companies existed in 1984 but still at present day (2021) the below companies are popular & Market leaders.

As a part of this, Dalton gives grants to local school districts to hire speakers who will persuade teachers, to put more emphasis on teaching reading skills” (Schuler and MacMillan, 1984, p.250).

Example 2:

“McDonald's uses training to ensure its distributors of a competitive advantage through cost/efficiency McDonald's. uses its intensive training program, at Hamburger. University; to ensure t that. its franchisees or distributors run as efficiently, as possible. Although training is also done in order to attain consistent quality its competitive advantage from training is attained from a cost/efficiency thrust” (Schuler and MacMillan, 1984, p.250).

  4. Exactly, training leads to important benefits for individuals and organizations. The existing analysis of literature proposes that these benefits vary from individual and organizational performance.it is very beneficial for the organizations to develop the employee development programs. If there is a systematic training and development program for the employees the companies will harvest its profit from the market and remain competitive in the job market. An organized and efficient development program with supportive apparatuses will significantly assist the organizations to retain the most valued human resource, especially those who have a lot of experience with the organization. If organizations are capable to support all employees in meeting their requirements then both, employees and organizations will get the long term benefits. It is also very important for the organizations to timely evaluate the success of employee training and development program (Jehanzeb & Bashir, 2013).
